There is so much more to model Charlotte de Carle than just a beautifully proportioned, elfin face! She is the rare combination of beauty, ambition and a fabulously entertaining personality. Meet your new girl crush!
Describe your personal style?
I think my personal style is really just however I wake up. Sometimes I like to be a lady, other times I like to look like a painter/ decorator. So maybe a hormone based style is the best way to describe it.
Favourite item of clothing/accessory you own?
I do have a weakness for sunglasses but I’d probably have to say my patent CAT boots. They are chic, comfortable and can be used as a late night weapon.
Most outrageous purchase of all time?
That would have to be my Mulberry bag. I got a really nice TV commercial job, so thought I’d treat myself. Sadly, it’s now a home for moths.
Who are your Beauty Icons?
I’d have to say Vanessa Paradis and Bridget Bardot. I love the women of the 60s era look. But really any woman that goes out with minimal make up is a beauty icon to me. Confidence makes you beautiful.
Do you have a skincare ritual?
To be honest I’ve used Johnson’s baby lotion since the womb, so I guess I’m just lucky. I have to admit that I’m now contemplating wrinkle cream. These creases won’t iron themselves!
What is the 1 skincare/make up product you can’t live without?
My Guerlain Lingerie De Peau BB cream. It’s perfect for that all over skin colour in a matter of minutes. It’s all about the minimal for me.
Favourite/signature perfume?
I’d have to say Chanel No.5 – a very sexy and womanly fragrance. It makes me want to kiss myself (I don’t)
Festival or beach?
I’d have to pick festival (Glastonbury). I’m not one for just laying on a beach. I like to throw some shapes and have random drunk conversations with other people. I’m more of a social tanner.
Where’s your favourite place to hang out?
Probably my window, I like the breeze in my hair.
When you were a kid what was your dream job?
I wanted to be a personal trainer at one point. Then realised that meant having thighs that crushed nuts. Luckily I just fell into modeling, it’s now an achievement if my thighs can crush a pea.
Favorite super hero?
My mum. No one does it better 🙂
What’s next for Charlotte?
I am super excited! I have just signed with Borne Media so I shall be chasing my dream of being a TV presenter and professional conversationalist. Until then I shall be happily vogueing the pages for my lovely fashion family at Profile Models.
