Overview
Located in the heart of Bangkok on the prestigious Ratchadamri Road, Hansar is a 5-star boutique style hotel. The hotel is a 3-minute walk away from the Ratchadamri Skytrain station, making it easy to visit all the must-see sites of this busy capital. Rooms and Villas
There are 5 different room options to choose from – Studio Suites, Urban Suites, Edge Suites, Vertigo Suites and the top range Loft Suites. All the suites come in generous sizes. The smallest room passes for a suite at 59 square metres, with plush carpets and fabrics provided by famed Thai silk company Jim Thompson. The bathrooms are a highlight as they are exceptionally large, taking you from your walk-in wardrobe to your bath area. When entering the Urban Suites you are in for a surprise as you are greeted by tropical greenery. Yes, these suites have a unique interior garden with a glass wall, offering you a touch of outdoors inside and reminding you of the green values of this hotel. There is great WiFi service throughout the hotel and complimentary in-suite mini bar and snacks that are restocked daily.
Wow factor
This award-winning hotel has such a relaxed and intimate vibe that you almost forget that you are in a busy capital. The fantastic sky-bound infinity-edge swimming pool and Jacuzzi on the 8th floor is what made this hotel stand out to us. It’s a truly luxurious feeling to dive into the cool water in the heat of this buzzing city, surrounded by skyscrapers. For a moment you are unsure as to whether you’re in NY or Bangkok. Wrap yourself in one of the oversized towers, order a cocktail and enjoy the large sun loungers. Time to tan! Keeping in line with the hotel environmental methods, the pool is run on a chemical free saltwater filtration system.
Eating and drinking
Zest Bar is located by the pool on the 8th floor and serves refreshing beverages, as well as signature Thai and Western dishes. The Elefin is Hansar’s modern Thai Café that focuses on the famous signature Thai dishes with a special attention to detail and presentation. Elefin also serves Western food including salads, sandwiches, homemade soups and pasta. The Rouge Bar is an elegant French lounge venue and the perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing or shopping. They serve exciting cocktails in a relaxing atmosphere. The 7 Eve fine-dining restaurant offers French Mediterranean dining. Eve is a private and romantic space which is why it has become a known destination within Bangkok’s high society, as a place to have privacy and innovative cuisine
